MOMBASA, Kenya – The Tour Operators Society of Kenya (TOSK) held its 6th Annual
General Meeting at the Mombasa Beach Hotel – Nyali on December 2nd, 2022 and brought
together TOSK members to discuss the latest trends in the tourism and travel industry.
The key event sponsor for the AGM was Afro Atlas – Africa’s leading travel consolidator.
“Afro Atlas is a supplier of a B2B and B2C business platform that our members are currently
benefiting from in terms of booking their packages,” said Ms. Awa Milimoh – TOSK
Secretary. “Our members being mostly SMEs, face unfair competitions from industry players
who have been in operation for over 10yrs. With Afro Atlas, the creativity & diversity of the
services our members offer is readily available to any consumer worldwide and we believe
this partnership will boost our SMEs in terms of sales & growth,” she added.

TOSK is a fully recognized association by the Tourism Regulatory Authority and is
comprised mainly of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the tourism sector.
Founded by young operators in 2015, TOSK has grown to over 75 members and is
dedicated to helping its members grow and sustain their businesses through training and
capacity building sessions.
The main objective of TOSK is to upskill Kenyan SMEs in the tourism industry and provide
them with the knowledge and support they need to succeed. The organization also
advocates for better policies from the government through forums with organizations such as
the Tourism Regulatory Authority and the Kenya Wildlife Service. In addition, TOSK helps its
members connect with international opportunities to grow their businesses through
marketing and promotion.
TOSK is committed to helping start-ups and SMEs in the tourism industry thrive and
encourages those interested in joining to take advantage of the networking and training
opportunities available through membership.
